A few new questions: 1. Are all the regions/counties the same area? I.E.: 20x20 square? 2. I'm so lost in regard to my location. Is there any possible way you could post a list of the kingdoms/county/territories that are in the game, so I can get a reference point to where I am located? 3. Have you ever considered a command which will compare weapons to each other, therefore players do not have to always remember how much damage a particular weapon can do, so that they can choose the most effective weapon? Thanks.

I've uploaded a very large scale up on the Initial Map thread. You can see from there that, indeed, at a high level the world is a tiled pattern. This makes it easy to do an infinitely generated world. :-)
I couldn't work out which account was yours. We have several people who have earned their "Gold Traveller" badge for ranging far distances. If you are currently in "Spruce Backwoods", then you are nearly 1000 miles north of the starting position. If you are in "Brown Castle County" (in the Dutchy of Blue Hill in the Kingdom of Yellow Prarie) then you are about 800 miles north and 450 miles west of the starting point.
I'll put down the weapon comparison feature on the list. It will have to wait until I do an audio update though. In the meantime you can download the OSRIC system. 6 Swords is a pretty faithful implementation of that.

Recent bug appeared. The descriptions sometimes include an xxx, yyy followed by the names and numbers in parentheses. Alexa reads xxx as 30 and yyy as 'ee' which is really odd sounding. The printout looks like the syntax of a stock phrase with variables followed by the relevant variable values. Not all phrases have this problem but some character hits in combat and most signposts havethe problem.
Example: The sign post points XXX to YYY(North, Village_name#7563)
Probably a typo in the code syntax somewhere and no biggie to fix but annoying in game play.

Seems to be working now. Thanks. I really enjoy the game and try to play each night, but it wasn't easy with Alexa reading code rather than the script. Much better now.

I can imagine! I don't know if you have seen the rumor in the pubs, but there is a new beta region opening up. If you go east of Veritas (the largest town near your starting location) you will find a tri-form arch that will take you there. Lots of interesting stuff coming into play there!

Found the arch but was worried I would be on a one way trip. Will check it out soon tho. Have 100k gold and nothing interesting to buy. Git all the plus armor and weapons I need and not finding upgrades beyond what I have so looking for better shops in other realms. Will have to try the arches.

It's OK. It is 2-way. Sadly nothing big to buy there yet. Eventually you will be able to lend your support to one of two factions fighting for control. That will give more of an open end-game options to do with your characters and money. For now there's a whole new realm to export. I'm just adding in ferries you can take to explore the coasts and islands.

Just had a test play with this skill from a developer-interest point of view, but with a "new user" head on!
Really, the only two small issues I found were that I was re prompted about speaking after the beep, twice. It would be good to save state so that once user had been told about the beep, it wouldn't notify again.
Also, a couple of prompts, like, "try saying east now" doesn't have a beep after it - once the idea of a beep is in the user's mind, it's good to have it at all times.
Apart from those two minor points... amazing work!

I'm glad you only found small issues. The prompt about the beep, as with all help prompts, starts off frequent, and then becomes less and less frequent the more you have been prompted with it. I have created issue #223 to put in extra logic so you don't get prompted with the same prompt more than once every 5 minutes. As the prompt states, the beep indicates there is more information. It only plays if there is something else to be heard by saying "more". If there is no additional information, the beep does not sound.
